I guess I don't LJ that much anymore! I wonder if anyone is still watching this account? Anyway, I'm working on the comics a lot these days, but before I start putting all my time into doing the next volume, need to win threadless was calling to me. This is my favorite so far, but that's what I always say right?  |

 I know that I've all but neglected this journal, but I wanted to at least put in my Year end wellwishes! So hope everthing is well with anyone who has friended me! As far as what I've been up to lately, its been all work and no play. December has been especially busy with the obligatory trips to visit family, and a recent move up to Seattle (Brrrr!!!) Hope to have something very interesting for anyone who's interested in my artworks in a few months. |

Today was the day of unholy, unabashed spending of monies! A few cool things were gained though including this manga that is really inspiring even if I can't read it: Space Traveller Robo & Usakichi--- Its almost pure action from start to finish, this artist's work is in one of the Comickers illustration books and I've always thought his style was very original looking. |

Yeah, people are pretty harsh on that site, but despite that, I think the reward for winning makes it worth all the abuse. So I guess that potentially disgusting Coke Blak  isn't out yet? I checked the website and so I thought it was out because it says it's in stores... but if it is, it hasn't reached L.A. yet. I know coke + coffee is pretty strange, but because it's so strange I feel so curious! Plus, I've been on a major coffee kick recently ^___^ A drive through, extended hours Starbucks just adds to my coffee consumption. Speaking of coffee beverages, I wanna try this too!  hehe... |

 Veggies are chopped and fried until lightly browned.  Added to the big pot.  5 and a half cups o' water are added in and its boiled  Meanwile I got this japanese hamburger helper specifically for making hamburgers that will accompany curry. I add water.  Add some hamburger and then make pattys and ready them for frying later.  after some 20 minutes add the curry bricks. This time I used java curry. Jamacan flava!  Wala! with rice and the hamburger pattys all cooked, this simple but super filling dish is done! |

This morning I went to the wonderful farmers market in burbank. Damn, its so cute with the people selling their fruits and veggies and food products all at the crack of dawn. I almost bought some kim-chee from someone just because it was there. I don't even like kim-chee! (except with Korean BBQ of course). Anyway, since I stayed up all night waiting for the farmers market to open and now I'm at work I'm tired. Maybe I'll take a break and get some coffee or something.. Anyway I was thinking, and I think the esoteric CD that I must have someday and that I will track down if I ever go to japan is this:  Fargo - by Chocolat, all composed by the esoteric japanese band Citrus, and inspired from the movie Fargo. just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes! TEARS! |

| So FC was highly enjoyable, much more relaxing then previous cons, but not as relaxing as I would have liked. Not much sleep was had, and lots of drawing was completed. I think if I go again, I want to perhaps socialize more with people I don't know and meet more people. I felt kind of cut off from the con in general because I had to draw so much. | |||
